the fearful moment

Today is yet another lucky day for u! Because i've decided to update my blog. Hahaha!!! I'm sure i can't say that every single time that i update my blog. Anyway, Christmas is not just around the corner, in fact, it is arriving. I looked at the calendar incredulously. Christmas is tomorrow! This brings us another step closer to the end of the year. How time flies! Christmas is suppose to be a joyous time of the year. However, christmas means another thing to us, the PMR candidates. It means that the moment that some of us are waiting for or fear is also around the corner. After months or i should say years of effort studying, obviously, we are keen to know our results. Or maybe just some of us. Surprisingly, i am actually eager to get my results. Its not that I am confident that i can pass with flying colours. Its just the curiosity in me that is making me eager to know my results. Come on, pass or fail, sooner or later, we would still have to face reality. It is actually not my results that i fear. Instead, i fear more for coming year in form 4. It seems torturing to study so many subjects and push yourself so hard to get an A. To make things worse, SPM determines your future. If you fail accomplishing that mission, your future might be doomed. Or maybe not. It depends on individuals. But the tension in the air now while waiting for my results is killing me! Wish me luck! *cross my fingers*

paintball!

today is your lucky day! i'm finally in the mood to post something. last saturday (6/12/2008), my church youth organised a paintball challenge in bukit jalil. this was my first time playing paintball so i was kind of nervous. however, we did have plenty of fun and we had a great time there. we were divided into 4 teams. unfortunately, iris, josephine and i were seperated into the four different teams AGAIN. so we were rivals at that moment but we resumed our friendship after matches. each team were suppose to play 3 matches against the other three teams. we were given 50 paintballs per matches. teams which have won 2 out of 3 games are qualified into the finals. unfortunately, my team failed to secure a spot in the final game after being defeated by uncle benjamin's team in the 3rd round in like less than 5 minutes. how sad, right? however, we managed to win at least 1 out of 3 games and we did have fun playing. the finalists were uncle vincent's team and uncle benjamin's team and the winner was uncle vincent's team. they get to play with 120 paintballs being qualified as finalists. for the other 2 teams which did not qualify for the finals, we were still able to play another match using the remaining paintballs. oh! and the good news is...... I WASN'T SHOT THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE 4 games! n for the 1st match, i was so blur that i didn't even know people were actually shooting at me until the girl standing next to me, alicia was shot. at the same time, i saw a paintball flying pass my eyes. imagine that! n actually, i did get shot for the 3rd match but the paintball didn't burst. so i am still alive!

opps! the picture is a bit small but these were the people who took part in this activity.
those are the markers ("guns") used to shoot the paintball.

the masks used to protect our eyes. imagine the paintball hitting yr eyes at 60-80km/hr!
